Chris Zanardi has been paving his way with many musical adventures throughout the west coast
over the last 8years. CZ has helped start many bands including the Bay Area group Five Eyed Hand,
Sam Flot Quintet,BiPed,& somethingfour (which released a studio album to great acclaim last year). While working
with Academy Award Winning Producer/Engineer Cookie Marenco (Zakir Hussain, Tony Furtado, Max Roach, Bill Frisell)
he has been able to establish himself as an original composer and improviser. Always churning out new projects CZ has found
himself playing with greats like Bernie Worrell (Parliment/Talking Heads) Liam Hanrahan (Zero), Fareed Haque,Kai Eckhardt & Eric Levy (Garaj Mahal), Trevor Garrod (Tea Leaf Green), Martyn Jones (the Mermen),Cecil Pnut Daniels (as seen w/WSP),Eric McFadden and James Whiton, (EMTrio) and lots of other amazing local musicians. While playing venues & festival like High Sierra ,Harmony Festival, Bobolink Music Festival, 12 Galaxies(SF), Moe's Alley,Don Quixotes(Santa Cruz)Café Du Nord, 19Broadway, Winston's (SD), Fais DoDo (LA), The Connecticut Yankee, Starry Plough and Jupiter CZ has been able to expand his travels and fan base. Generally leaning to the instrumental/experimental jazz side of things CZ’s music can be just as rocking as it can be funky. Be on the lookout for new projects and future studio
